Firewood box – 45 cm – hardwood mix (2 m3)

This wooden pallet of about 2 meters high is easy to store (subject to accessibility) and guarantees you to have the number of steres ordered.

The pallet contains several species, exclusively hardwoods. This is therefore ideal for a good balance between embers and bright flames.

The wood is well split into 45 cm logs, the ideal format for a fireplace or insert.

Heavy type wood or light type wood?

Light woods are easy to light but burn much too quickly (poplar, maple, linden, alder …)

Heavy woods are more difficult to light but they have a high calorific value and burn slowly.

It is highly recommended to avoid burning softwood trees in your wood stove because they clog your heating system, annoy a lot of smoke and emit splashes during combustion (open fireplace)

It is necessary to avoid burning woods that burst, such as chestnut and plane tree because they project embers especially do not use in open hearths.

It is also necessary to avoid wood that dirts, such as softwoods and woods that are too wet because they make too much smoke and they deposit resin in the ducts.
